1The job: My work is all about the most important screen in the life of today?s youth, the smartphone screen. While I lead our efforts to serve our users with the unique services that WeChat offers, I almost work out of my smartphone, the iPhone. And I love it. The smartphone app ecosystem, and social communication at that, is a fast changing and evolving business category where innovation is the key and I make it a point to stay abreast of all industry developments. We come up with out-of-the-box ideas to keep up with latest happenings in our users? lives. The best part of it is working with a young team in this exciting loop of thinking, creating, trying, destroying, and improving. My work gives me immense pleasure as we make WeChat the choice of young Indians.
2The weekdays: I rarely disconnect with my work on weekdays. And it?s a 24×7 approach. Team WeChat tries to stay on its feet round the clock to offer the best to its users. Typically in office, I don?t take tea or coffee. My magic drink is only pure water. At work, the team is pretty focused but at the same time the work atmosphere is fun, cool and relaxed, which is important to keep everyone refreshed.
3The weekend: My weekends are dedicated to my family. I thoroughly enjoy spending quality time with my wife and daughter.
My daughter keeps me busy with all her stories, queries and games. My family and I catch a movie once in a while to keep updated on tinsel town. I also love listening to some soothing music on weekends.
4The toys: I?m addicted to my gadgets. I absolutely cannot do without my iPhone. It?s like an extension of me.
5The logos: For phones, it is iPhone, for shoes it is Adidas, for perfumes it is Ferragamo for Men and for watches it is Casio. For apps, it is obviously WeChat.
