Tata Nano won the ?car of the year? while Bajaj Pulsar 135 4v bagged the ?bike of the year? award at the Bloomberg UTV-Autocar Awards 2010.
The awards saw a rigorous selection procedure and has a jury which has remained unchanged for years. The jury consisted of Dilip Chhabria, car designer, Manwendra Singh, automobile historian, Autocar India editor Hormazd Sorabjee, Autocar India deputy editorShapur Kotwal, Auto Show editor Renuka Kirpalani, Former Rally Driver Rajeev Khanna and Naren Kumar (6-times national champion).
The special guests were Formula 1 racing champion Narain Karthikeyan and Autocar UK editor Chas Hallet. The chief guest was minister of state for road, transport & highways RPN Singh.

The other winners are Skoda Laura (best variant of the year), BMW Z4 (Best driver’s car), BMW 7-series (technology & innovation award) Mercedes E-class (green award), Fiat Linea?father-son? (blue efficiency car ad of the year), Honda CB1000R (import bike of the year) and Fiat Punto (best design & styling).
