Alleging that the Aam Aadmi Party had fallen into the habit of ?undemocratic high command culture?, some former members of the Aam Aadmi Party including former legal cell convenor Ashwini Upadhyay and founder member Madhuresh Lakhaiyar have said the rebel members, who had recently resigned from the party, were in discussions to create a new party called Aam Aadmi Party (Democratic).

?Several national council members, who recently resigned, are gathering in Delhi for a meeting over the weekend. We are in talks and will issue a proper statement soon,? Upadhyay said.

Lakhaiyar said the erstwhile Aam Aadmi Party members were ?disgruntled and disappointed? by the ?high command culture? being propagated by AAP leaders.
