Prasad Thrikutam, former senior vice-president of Infosys whose resignation was announced on Thursday, will join Dell Services as president and global head, Application Services, on July 28. He replaces Ashutosh Vaidya, who will become the head of Global Delivery for Dell Services.
At Dell, Thrikutam will lead a global team of 10,000 people, responsible for driving Dell’s Application Services business across all vertical industry segments and report to Dell Services president Suresh Vaswani. He will be based at Dell’s headquarters in Plano.

He was the head of Infosys America, strategic sales, marketing and alliance and was also previously the global head for the Energy, Utilities, Telecom and Services business unit. Thrikutam was a senior member of the Infosys Executive Council and served on the boards of Infosys BPO, Infosys China and Infosys Public Services.
