The Rohit Shetty directed Ajay Devgn – Kareena Kapoor starrer Singham Returns that released a while back has been doing well at the box office. While on one hand the film has fared much better than its prequel, on the other, it has managed to surpass some other big films that released this year.
In this Box Office report, we take a look at the collections of Singham Returns as compared to other big releases of 2014. Interestingly, Singham Returns becomes the second highest grosser of 2014 collecting Rs. 138.63 crores out beating the Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho that collected Rs. 116 crores and even the Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday that collected Rs. 112.45 crores.
However, despite its stellar run at the box office Singham Returns falls short of beating Salman Khan’s other release Kick that collected Rs. 231.85 crores.
