Amazon India has announced new lowered prices for its Kindle Fire HD 8.9” tablets.
The 16 GB Kindle Fire HD 8.9” tablet will be available at Rs 17,999, reduced from the earlier Rs 21,999, while the 32GB version has been priced at Rs 21,999 from the earlier Rs 25,999.
The tablet, based on the Android operating system, are good for web browsing, apps and games and well as for accessing Amazon's huge e-book library. Kindle fire customers can access over two million apps, games and eBooks including Facebook, Temple Run and Angry Birds and marquee Indian apps like BIGFLIX, Chhota Bheem, Throne of Bali, Dhingana, ErosNow, ESPNCricinfo, MapMyIndia, MakeMyTrip, SonyLIVE, BookMyShow, Zomato, Nimbuzz Messenger and NDTV, each optimized for Kindle Fire HD.
