Taiwanese tech major on Wednesday revealed that it sold 40,000 units of the Zenfone smartphones within four days of the debut in Indian market.
Post the launch of ASUS Zenfone Series, the smartphone range has been available exclusively on Flipkart and through offline ASUS authorised channels.
Zenfones have reached audiences in more than 300 cities with the extensive reach of Flipkart, the company said in a statement. ?
Asus launches its ZenFone range of 4, 5 and 6 inch smartphones in India last week and priced them as low as Rs 5,999. In fact, the 5-inch version has been priced at Rs 9,999 and the 6-inch at Rs 16,999.
Reacting to the overwhelming response, Peter Chang, Regional Head, South Asia & Country Manager, System Business Group, ASUS India, said: “The reaction from the Indian masses has been astonishing owing to our partnership with Flipkart and our offline channels. It is surprising to see that the product has reached to 300 cities immediately post launch.”
Apart from the Asus ZenFone series, Asus sells its PadFone and MemoPad voice calling tablets in India.
