ASUS’ Zenbook UX302 to hit India next month; BlackBerry Z10 back in stock

ASUS’ Zenbook UX302 is just 15.5mm thick, 14% thinner than the previous Zenbook.

The much awaited ultrabook Zenbook UX302 from ASUS will soon make its India debut next month. According to company, Zenbook UX302 will be available pan India across all ASUS exclusive stores and major multi-brand retail outlets starting April.

ASUS Zenbook UX302 at a premium price

The Zenbook UX302 is a premium class ultrabook that comes with a scratch free 13.3-inch WQHD display based on Gorilla Glass 3 packed in a brushed metallic finish. This 15.5mm thin device is 14 percent slimmer than its predecessor and is powered by Nvidia GT 730M 2GB VRAM to offer high-performance suitable for multi-media and gaming.

It runs on Windows 8 64 bit professional, offers 32GB of free WebStorage space for the three years period and uses Super Hybrid Engine II technology to boost battery performance. However this premium class ultrabook comes at price that not many would afford to buy. It is priced at Rs99,999. ?

Given that price, this ultrabook may not be sold in high volumes in India; however there’s some good news for mobile lovers that those who wish to buy top end smart devices at a price is that affordable and reasonable. ??

BlackBerry Z10 back in action

The good news is that BlackBerry’s smart phone Z10 is back for a grab after it ran out of stock early this month. According to company, the Z10 model is available from 26 March across BlackBerry’s retail network across India as well as on Flipkart.com?

?The fantastic consumer response to BlackBerry?s 10 year Anniversary special promotion led to a sellout of BlackBerry Z10 stocks within a week. BlackBerry is proud to announce that BlackBerry Z10 has now been restocked across BlackBerry?s retail network across the country and on Flipkart.com, starting 26 March 2014. Running the latest BlackBerry10 OS version 10.2.1, the device will be available in the markets for Rs17,990 ?till stock lasts,? said Sameer Bhatia, Director, Distribution, BlackBerry India.?

Early February this year, the Canadian mobile device maker had announced a price cut on BlackBerry Z10 smartphone as part of company’s 10 year celebrations. It had launched Z10 in 2013 at a price around Rs44,000 however the price was slashed last September around Rs28,000 and further it was dropped down to Rs17,990 this year.?

Following the price drop, BlackBerry is enjoying a dream run in terms of unprecedented demand and sales of Z10 in India. According to technology analysts, Z10 is one of the finest smart phones ever made by BlackBerry10, besides its security feature, it is at part with Apple’s iPhone 5. Given that price of Rs17,990 it is certainly worth buying as not many smartphones are available at that price point along with features. Also the latest BlackBerry10 OS version 10.2.1 provides support some of the popular Android apps and games.
