The Auto Expo is the region’s largest automotive show. It showcases latest automotive products, components, vehicles, and acts as a launch-pad for new vehicles, besides being the platform for generating leads, one-to-one interactions and massive business enquiries.
Global automobile companies have displayed hundreds of new models at the current Auto Expo Motor Show—which is for the first time taking place in Greater Noida near Delhi—including several small cars, and there have been many global launches too. This is the 12th edition of the Auto Expo, billed as the biggest auto show in the country’s history. Many of the products unveiled at the Auto Expo—from small cars to sport utility vehicles, sedans to scooters, and motorcycles to trucks—will be introduced in the country over the next few years. We can expect it will help reversing the trend of sliding automobile sales.
Auto sales in the country have headed to a new low in over a decade as the economy is still not growing at a fast pace. In fact, every time auto companies count on events such as this, and almost every time they see some sort of demand, in one segment or the other. Any automobile show can excite people by introducing new models and concepts with innovative technologies. The same holds true for the Auto Expo 2014, which can give the much-needed boost to the auto industry and overall sentiments. The good news is that the show is already a huge hit as far as media coverage shows.
