The average female Mac user is ‘pretty cute, but awkwardly dressed’, a tech start-up has claimed after compiling data from 1.1 million Facebook profiles.
BlueStacks claimed it had cobbled together an approximate picture of women who have Apple computers.
Mostly they dress down, preferring jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes, Bluestacks, which produces software that allows Mac users to run Android apps, said.
Only nine percent tend to wear skirts and eight percent prefer dress shoes, it added.
According to BlueStacks'' poll, 29 percent of women ''very much enjoy blouse’, and about 18 percent prefer halter tops, the Daily Mail reports.
According to the paper, BlueStacks admitted that the portrait they paint of the average female Mac user isn''t scientifically accurate.
BlueStacks compiled data from hundreds of thousands of female Mac users after reviewing the Facebook profiles of its 1.1 million Facebook fans, the paper said.
