Workers at Bajaj Auto Chakan plant near Pune, who had threatened to stop work from April 28, have hit back at company MD Rajiv Bajaj for calling their demands insane and preposterous. ?Work stoppage is the last resort. We wanted to avoid it but we are compelled to do so now,? said Dilip Pawar, president of Chakan union, Vishwa Kalyan Kamgar Sanghatana.
