Hindi Diwas was celebrated with full fervour and enthusiasm on Friday at the Bank of Baroda, Regional Office, Dehradun.
On this occasion the Deputy General Manager Mr. M. K. Duggal addressed the employees and praised their contribution to the use of official language in banking domain. He emphasized the special role of Bank of Baroda in the implementation of Official Language policy of the Government of India.
On behalf of all staff members Regional Hindi Officer Mr. Ambresh Ranjan Kumar assured Mr. Duggal to maximize the banking work in simple Hindi language to attract more customer to the bank.
To mark the occasion essay competition, literary quiz and antakshari were organized and Mr. Shahid Ali, Mr. Ambar Joshi and Miss. Poonam and Miss. Apoorva won prizes. Mr. Duggal distributed the prizes to the winners. The function was concluded with a special message from Chairman and Managing Director Mr. M.D Mallya.
