The emerging fierce competition in the banking industry has made public sector major Bank of Baroda to change its decades-old logo from June 6. The bank, which had received its board’s decision on the logo change, has informed The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE) that the bank is opting for such move as part of brand implementation road map.

The change in brand design would ordinarily involve not a change in name of the bank, but may still have impact on long-term image and revenue and the proposed change of brand design, is an important event for the bank.
