Q. 1 You seem to be very fond of bikes. When was the first time you rode one of the machines?

I rode a bike when I was nine years old, all thanks to a cousin working in the Merchant Navy. Those days the Merchant Navy guys could ship in foreign bikes to India. It was around that time, nearly 30 years ago, that I saw a 750 CC bike.

Q. 2 How did you feel, being on the driver’s seat?

I went crazy. I thought motorcycles were the most beautiful things that man has ever invented. That made me want to ride motorcycles all the time.

Q. 3 Which was the first bike that you owned?

A 175 CC Bobby Rajdoot. After that I got a Yamaha RD 350, and then I moved on to a Bullet and then there was no looking back.

Q. 4 John Abraham is known to have a fabulous body. Who has been your inspiration?

Sylvester Stallone from the film Rocky IV. I was totally impressed when I saw him working out in the film and that is enough for me to decide to have a body just like his.

Q. 5 What’s the best compliment you have received for your body?

The biggest compliment came to me from the man who I admire the most, and who has been my all-time inspiration, Sylvester Stallone himself. The other day he made a statement that he had seen a poster of the film Shootout At Wadala and that he thought I was in a better shape than he ever was! It was like a compliment coming straight from god!

Q. 6 Which is the first Hindi film that you saw?

My mom is a huge fan of black and white movies. So, I remembering seeing the Kishore Kumar-starrer Half Ticket. But it was Salman Khan’s Maine Pyar Kiya that I really enjoyed watching. I had gone to a theatre with my school friends to see the film.

Q. 7 Which was your first trip abroad?

I went to Philippines, for an international modeling competition called The Manhunt International. After I won the competition, I visited places like London, New York, Singapore etc.

Q. 8 One dream that you have already accomplished?

I don’t know if it’s a dream but the success of Madras Cafe has set a milestone in my career. The film gained me respect as an actor and a producer.

Q. 9 Does that inspire you to make
