In a setback to Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL), the Bombay High Court has rejected the company’s interim relief petition filed against GVK-led Mumbai International Airport and Maharashtra government authorities in the slum rehabilitation case of the Mumbai airport land. However, the court granted time till September 16 to HDIL for appeal in the superior court. The court also said the ongoing arbitrational proceedings in the matter will take their course. Dismissing the plea, the court said it found that the developer ?failed to make out a prima facie case or balance of convenience in its favour?.
