Budget carrier SpiceJet announces yet another airfare sale, seventh in 2014

SpiceJet is providing tickets at a price as low as Rs 1,899 to Rs 2,299, for one way tickets.

Low-cost carrier SpiceJet on Wednesday announced yet another flash air ticket sale, seventh such discounted ticket offering since the beginning of the year, for travel from eastern citites of Agartala, Bagdogra, Guwahati and Kolkata.

The airline is providing tickets at a price as low as Rs 1,899 to Rs 2,299, for one way tickets, for bookings made between April 30 and May 2, and for travel between July 1 and September 30.

While, bookings from Agartala and Bagdogra can be availed at a price as low as Rs 1,899, those from Guwahati and Kolkata can be availed at fares starting from Rs 2,199 and Rs 2,299 respectuvely, said a release from SpiceJet.

“This offer is primarily targeted towards stimulating the market in East India right at the onset of the summer break,? said Neelu Singh, COO, Ezeego1.com.

?Other airlines are likely to introduce similar offers soon, with a limited inventory and we in turn are expecting a surge in online bookings by 30%,? she added.
