Xolo has introduced its new smartphone, Xolo Q700S, which is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has an 8 MP auto-focus camera. It contains a 1.3-GHz MTK6582M quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, a 4.5-inch touchscreen display and a VGA front-facing camera. The phone, like all others in the segment, has 3G, Wi-Fi and FM radio. It is energised by a 1,800 mAh battery.

Motorola?s Moto G, like Motorola?s other two models, is being sold solely on Flipkart. It is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has a 5 MP auto-focus rear camera. The phone has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor aided by 1 GB RAM. It bears a 4.5-inch HD touchscreen display and a 1.3 MP front camera. The phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.0 with a 2,070 mAh battery.

HTC Desire 310

The Desire 310 is bundled with Android 4.2.2 and 512 MB of RAM. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6582M quad-core chipset running at 1.3 GHz. The ?M? moniker at the end indicates that the GPU runs at a slightly slower 416 MHz as compared to 500 MHz on the standard version. The 512 MB RAM raises an issue if you try to multitask. This is where the phone lags a bit. You get the standard suite of Google apps pre-installed, as well as apps like Facebook and Polaris Office 5. There?s 4 GB of internal memory out of which the user gets 2.6 GB. This can be expanded to 32 GB.

Motorola?s Moto X, the top-end model from the company in India, is an Android-based smartphone with 4.7-inch, 720p display powered by 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 10 MP camera. Mi 3, also known as China?s iPhone, has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274AB 2.3GHz processor, Adreno 330 450MHz GPU, 2 GB RAM and eMMC 4.5 flash memory. The phone has a 13 MP camera with dual-LED flash, 500 hours of standby time, 50 hours of music playback, 25 hours of talktime and 21 hours of 3G Internet use. Some of the other features include a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, powering a 6-inch HD display and a 13 MP rear camera with auto focus, as well as a 1.1 MP front-facing camera, 8 GB internal memory, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

This is all powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

samsung Galaxy S5

The Galaxy S5 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 1,920 pixel full-HD resolution.
