The Chandigarh treasure trail, organised by STEPS, Chandigarh Tourism, and Chandigarh College of Architecture commemorated the 125th Birth Anniversary of Le Corbusier on Sunday at Le Corbusier Museum in Sector 19.
Those joining the treasure trail passed the clues to reach important unfamiliar spots in Chandigarh like Corbusier Cube –Foundation Stone under a bridge in Sector 15.
The Chandigarh treasure trail was flagged off by Home Secretary Anil Kumar in the morning with over 300 people in 70 groups participating. Later, the participants joined in a cake cutting ceremony at Le Corbusier Centre in Sector 19.
Antoine Picon , president of the Le Corbusier Foundation, Paris and professor in Harvard University in USA cut the ceremonial Open Hand Cake along with officials of the UT Administration.
The prize winners of Chandigarh treasure trail were given memorabilia and souvenirs of Le Corbusier .
