CLAT result 2018 highlights: The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi has declared the Common Law Admission Test result today at clat.ac.in. The result link has been activated on the official website of the board as the scores are now live. The exam was conducted by NUALS earlier this month on May 13 across various centres in the country. CLAT is conducted every year for admission to a law programme at one of the 19 prominent law institutions in India. The 19 NLUs offer five-year integrated Under-Graduate Law Programmes that lead to the award of a degree in Law as per their respective nomenclature.

The admission to UG and PG programmes in participating universities under CLAT-2018 shall be completed through centralised online counselling conducted by the CLAT Office. The basis of allotment of seats shall be ‘merit-cum-preference’, i.e., the CLAT Rank, the order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT application form and the category / categories selected by the candidate in the online application form and the number of seats and their division/break-up as available in each of the participating NLU. Online counselling shall start after the declaration of CLAT-2018 results. The entire procedure shall be completed as per the CLAT calendar which is available on the CLAT website.
The results will be available on the official website between May 31 and June 6. Log in to your account during this time interval to check your results.
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) in association with a private firm M/s Sify Technologies Ltd had conducted the CLAT exam this year on May 13 for admissions in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in law courses offered at premier law schools.

On May 30, the Supreme Court cleared the decks for the declaration of results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 today that pays the way for students to get admissions in 19 prestigious national law colleges across the country. Providing relief to many Law aspirants, a vacation bench of consisting of Justices L Nageswara Rao and M M Shantanagoudar turned down the plea of a batch aggrieved students who sought re-examination.
This year the exam was under much criticism because of the ‘mismanagement in the exam centres’ as reported by many students.
