Dalda, one of India?s most iconic brands, announced today the re-launch of its cooking oil range in Punjab and Haryana market which it considers the ?focus northern market? as company brands like Gagan and Dalda have 20 per cent market share in this market.
Dinesh Agrawal, Business Head, Dalda claimed at a launch ceremony in Chandigarh that Dalda oils are zero in cholesterol and contain Vitamins A, D & E that have nutritional benefits. They are available in four variants ? Refined Sunflower, Soybean, Groundnut and Kachi Ghani Mustard Oils. Agrawal said that consumption of edible oils per capita was about 14 kgs per person per year in India but in states of Punjab and Haryana it was over 16 kgs per capita per annum. Dalda cooking oil will be available to consumers in the entire country. The product comes with informative packaging and will be available in three different formats ? food grade plastic Pouches, Bottles, and Jars. Dalda is one of the very few brands in the country that cater to varied consumer segments ranging from urban markets to homemakers in rural India.
