Delhi University evening colleges look to take up the morning shift

SummaryMost evening colleges of Delhi University are planning to shift to the morning mode.

Lal Anand Evening College and Dyal Singh Evening College will approach the university for funds, others like Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, which are funded by the Delhi government, will request the government for more land.

An infrastructure committee will soon be formed by the university to look into the issue. The committee will request the government for a one-time exemption with regard to the various approvals that need to be sought for addition of infrastructure so that the plan does not hit further roadblocks, Rai said.
