Persistent project delays have now become a part of life for the highway developers and the situation doesn?t seem to be improving. Despite the mandate of the Prime Minister to have a committee to finalise the principles and model for rescheduling of premium for highway developers within four weeks, the creation of the panel itself has taken three weeks. According to the time-frame, the panel now has only a week to complete its job, which is also likely to go without a single round of meeting given Diwali holidays.
