Ramesh Rajan, the former chairman of PwC India entities has resigned after having been with PWC for over three decades.
Ramesh Rajan was the first elected chairman and senior partner of PWC India by the partners. Ramesh Rajan has resigned from PWC effective June 30.
Rajan’s exit from PWC follows other high profile partner exits like Jai Purandare, Madhavan, Ambarish Dasgupta, Usha Narayanan and Kumar Dasgupta.
During his tenure with PWC, Rajan significantly strengthened the India practice and embarked upon an ambitious transformation program.
Rajan led the firm during what was probably the most challenging and difficult period in the 135 years history of the organization before stepping down as the chairman to take on a global role.
