Gold futures prices today moved down by 0.33 per cent to Rs 29,690 per 10 grams in line with weak global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the June contract of the metal fell by Rs 99, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 29,690 per 10 gram in business turnover of 170 lots.
The April contract declined Rs 43, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 30,162 per 10 gram in 2,157 lots.
Analysts said a weak trend in overseas markets, as investors awaited the end of the US Federal Reserve's two-day policy meeting and assessed the situation in Ukraine, weighed on gold futures here.
Globally, gold fell to two a one-week low of USD 1,356.62 an ounce in Singapore.
