Groupon India, in collaboration with Diamond Comics, has launched a series of deals to pay tribute to Pran, one of the greatest Indian cartoonists of all times, and his memorable works on Chacha Chaudhary.
The online shopping site is offering limited edition of Pran?s digitally autographed Chacha Chaudhary comics, along with some exciting merchandise such as DVDs, 3D comics, and magnet stickers.

Popularly known as Pran, cartoonist Pran Kumar Sharma gained widespread fame for the character of Chacha Chaudhary that he sketched for the Hindi magazine Lotpot back in 1969. The avuncular neighborhood wit, dressed in a pagdi and a suit, was known for his native wisdom. “Chacha Chaudhary ka dimaag computer se bhi tej chalta hai,” became a famous catch-phrase. His sidekick Sabu, the giant from Jupiter, also found popularity. Lakhs of Chacha Chaudhary comics were sold in bookstores and railway stalls. A tele-serial, starring Raghubir Yadav as Chacha Chaudhary was also aired on Sahara channel.
