Close on the heels of the BJP refusing to reply to the Aam Aadmi Party’s 18-point letter, the party CM candidate Harsh Vardhan has put forward a 14-point questionnaire to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, asking him whether or not his party will form a government in Delhi.
“They are unable to decide on how best to fulfil the expectations of the people who voted for the AAP. This party should clearly tell the people whether it will form the government or not,” Harsh Vardhan said.
He accused the Aam Aadmi Party of entering into a secret understanding with the Congress even before the elections.
“Will the AAP form the government in Delhi with the help of Congress? Does the AAP consider itself guilty as the functioning of the government in the capital has completely stopped? No party would help another party, inside or outside the House, in forming the government the way the Congress is doing. Kejriwal should tell people about the secret deal it has with Congress,” Harsh Vardhan said.
“This party had insulted Mohan Chand Sharma who sacrificed his life in the Batla House encounter. People of Delhi have not forgotten this. The leader and advisor of AAP Prashant Bhushan had pleaded in favour of separatists in Jammu and Kashmir and said Kashmir should be separated from India. The AAP is in defiance of Anna Hazare who gave birth to the party. Kejriwal and other AAP leaders use objectionable language in their correspondence and public statements. If the AAP has any objection to the present Lokpal Bill, why did it not hold a separate movement for a Lokpal of their choice?” he said.
In his first interaction with the media after meeting the Lt- Governor, Harsh Vardhan had called the AAP Congress’s B Team.
“This party has acted like an ally of the Congress during the elections because the Congress and the government had information that they were going to lose due to price rise and corruption. After winning 28 seats, the AAP had announced that it will neither cooperate with Congress or the BJP. After that the party changed its agenda at the insistence of the Congress,” Harsh Vardhan alleged.
