Tata Sky's special promotional offer would include a Tata Sky standard definition box and installation for Rs 1,390.
"To show our complete support towards the digitisation initiative, Tata Sky is taking a price drop of Rs 200 to make DTH even more affordable for consumers," Tata Sky Managing Director and CEO Harit Nagpal said.
Tata Sky, a joint venture between Tata Group and Star Group is available in about 15,000 towns.
