The Bombay High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing of singer Adnan Sami’s anticipatory bail application till tomorrow.
Justice Mrudula Bhatkar also extended the interim protection from arrest, granted to Sami, by a day. Sami and his parents moved sessions court last week after his wife Saba Galadari filed a complaint of harassment, intimidation and blackmailing against them in suburban Oshiwara police station.
On May 22, sessions court granted anticipatory bail to his parents, but rejected Adnan’s bail application. The lower court, however, granted him protection from arrest for three days, so that he could move High Court.
The High Court had to defer the case on Monday as sessions court’s order was not available.
Court has asked the investigating officer in the case to remain present with case papers tomorrow.
