Japanese car maker Honda has launched its much awaited seven seater MPV, the Mobilio. The vehicle is available at a price of Rs. 6.49 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi for petrol base variant) and Rs. 7.89 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi for the diesel base variant).
Earlier, the car maker showcased this MPV sensation at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and this machine has the caliber to challenge other popular MPVs in India like Chevrolet Enjoy, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Nissan Evalia and Toyota Innova. In order to draw customers’ attention, the car maker started the bookings of this phenomenal car 2 weeks ago and its deliveries have started from the day of its launch. The company has made Honda Mobilio available in three exciting trims i.e. the E, the S and the V, however another sporty looking RS variant is available in the diesel in-line variants as the top-end variant. The Mobilio is based on Honda’s “Man Maximum, Machine Minimum” philosophy and further focuses on offering the passengers with sheer driving pleasure along with optimum space.
This enticing MPV is based on Honda Brio's platform, however it looks totally different from its siblings as it gets premium looks and chrome additions across its profile. It comes with elegantly designed exteriors that showcase large front grille with bold chrome slat inspired from company’s new ‘Exciting H Design’ concept. In addition, the Mobilio gets sculpted bumper with oval fog lamps fitted in black mesh plastic housing. Besides, this crossover gets attractive 15 inches alloy wheels and the wheel base of 2650 mm along with ground clearance of 189 mm that ensures easy drive on roads. The rear also gets much attractive with the Faux LED tail lamp cluster that is inspired from Honda City.
The all new Honda Mobilio is now available in seven exciting colour options – Majestic Blue Metallic, Brilliant Gold Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Taffeta White, Urban Titanium Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl (for the RS trim).
It will get 2-din stereo system like its siblings, the Amaze and the Brio and will also feature USB and AUX-IN Connectivity. To ensure maximum comfort at the second and third row, the company has blessed this MPV with the roof mounted AC vents, sliding and reclining second row and reclining third row seats.
