In the latest development, Chaudhary Charan Singh University has delayed the MBBS examinations citing the allegations of the paper leak. The university has also issued a notice on its official website saying that the dates of the cancelled examinations and the centres will be announced accordingly. The examination was scheduled to commence on 12th February and for now, stands cancelled. According to the reports by NDTV, the question paper of the MBBS Surgery II examination which was supposed to begin on Monday was leaked a night before. After inspection, it was found that the leaked question paper was the replica of the original question paper and upon confirmation, the examination was cancelled. Chaudhary Charan Singh University was established in 1965 and is considered as one of the premier institutions with a sprawling 22 acres of land. There are also well-equipped laboratories. Meanwhile, board examinations are taking place in Uttar Pradesh and a proper check has been kept to abate the chance of cheating and paper leak.
