Sajid Khan’s ‘Humshakals’ might have opened to a mixed response at the ticket window on opening shows, but it made up in the later shows by generating over Rs 45 crore in box office collections till now.
?While the start and noon shows were better in North India and Gujarat, the opening response in several circuits ranged from average to low. The business should grow during the evening shows, like it happens with many big-ticket films,? said trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
As per available data, ‘Humshakals’ box office collections was Rs 12.50 crore on Friday, Rs 12.59 cr on Saturday, followed by Rs 15.04 cr on Sunday (Indian business only).

The Saif Ali Khan-starrer film, which has an overseas-friendly genre, also grossed excellent box office collection figures in UAE-GCC and Pakistan though the business had been ordinary/dull in key markets such as USA-Canada, UK and Australia. Humshakals’ overseas total so far came to approx $2.02 million (Rs 12.16 crore) from 40 countries.
‘Humshakals’ stars Saif Ali Khan, Ram Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in triple roles along with Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Esha Gupta. The film is co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment.
