iGate, the US headquartered IT services company with a large presence in India, has bagged a five-year contract from Orange Communications (Orange Switzerland) valued at $80 million along with a possible one-year extension, according to a release.

Under the deal, iGate will manage all enterprise systems, including ERP, business intelligence, infrastructure and data network and telephony services of Orange Switzerland.

iGate will also provide infra as a service for Orange Switzerland and specific partners — as well as a multilingual service desk to monitor and report all vendor performance metrics. The data centre is operated through Equinix in Zurich where iGate also has contracts with other Swiss companies.

iGate executive V-P and head of Europe & Australia Derek Kemp said, “We are excited to begin our partnership with a leading telecom provider.”
