While India may have got its say on food security, the WTO deal continues to hang in balance after Cuba raised objections to the trade facilitation text.
Cuba, along with certain Latin American, is understood to have backed out after the language in the TF agreement did not indicate a lifting of the US embargo at the meeting of trade ministers early hours of Saturday.
WTO chief Roberto Azevedo and all member nations are set to meet yet again on Saturday morning to try and address these concerns and thrash out a compromise.
The closing session of the plenary where all 160 member nations of the WTO will adopt the draft Bali text has been delayed. Without adoption of the text, it will not be considered a formal declaration of intent.
