After a successful stint in the United States, Gurgaon, India-based, on-demand remote tech support company, iYogi has announced a strategic partnership with Spectranet, a broadband service provider catering to certain regions of Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai.
Under this partnership, iYogi will provide a customer network management solution and technical support for Spectranet home and business customers in the country. “This partnership will bring a globally proven tech support service to India for the first time,” Uday Challu, CEO, iYogi.
In a order to enhance customer satisfaction, Spectranet has introduced a customer tech support service called Tech Assit, based on iYogi's Digital Service Cloud SaaS platform. Spectranet will be offering this service for free to its new and existing FOX (Fibre Optic Xperience) broadband customers.
“Given the technical infancy of the consumer, it is important for service providers to focus on delivering good technical support and get out out of the divided responsibility mindset, in which, tech support ends at providing connectivity only. With this partnership with iYogi we are looking forward to help our users with any issue related to connectivity, devices, software and any related components,” said Udit Mehrotra, CEO & MD, Spectranet.
Spectranet's Tech Assit will be managed by iYogi and customers will have access to 24x7 for all connected devices including computers, peripherals, smartphones and other digital devices through a unified platform and customer contact center.
Recently, iYogi raised $28 million in funding. Speaking about the company's plans for India, Challu said, “The Indian device market is booming, and the experience is becoming more complex for the consumer. Telecom companies are at the center of the action, and become the first port of call for users grappling with technology.”
