*Measure: Tax exemption limit Rs 2.5 lakh for individuals below 60 years and Rs 3 lakh for senior citizens

*Measure: Duty exemption on colour picture tubes, LCD, LED

Impact:: TVs below 19 inches Smaller TVs cheaper

*Measure: Excise duty on tobacco products, aerated water with added sugar up

Impact:: Cigarettes, pan masala, gutkha, fizzy drinks costlier

*Measure: Customs duty on raw material for soaps removed. Excise duty on footwear below R1,000 halved

Impact:: Shoes and soaps to become cheaper
