Despite assurances given by Kingfisher Airlines chairman Vijay Mallya to employees on re-starting operations from the summer schedule, the carrier today failed to fulfil the aviation regulator’s requirements on filing details.

Kingfisher CEO Sanjay Agarwal met Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Arun Mishra to apprise him of the prevailing scenario facing the airline, but sources said he gave no information about any commitment by the airline’s parent company, UB Group, on financing the revival plan.

Officials of the airline submitted no-objection certificates (NOC) from some aircraft leasing companies and oil firms, they could not place NOCs from airport operators and proof of commitment from the UB Group.
