The tool-down agitation by workers of two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp at its Haridwar plant has been withdrawn and full-scale production will resume from Monday. “The issue with regard to the handful of workers sitting in protest against the issuance of a disciplinary show-cause notice to one of the workers has been amicably resolved today,” a spokesperson said. All the protesting workers have gone back and despatches from the plant are going on, he added.
Krishnanand Bhatt, a technician at the plant and one of the representatives of the workers, added: “We have resolved the issue with the management after four rounds of talks and we will resume duties from Monday onwards.”
