Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motors, others plug discounts to power sales

Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on various models – except newly launched hatchback Celerio.

Discounts and offers play a key role in boosting sales. With the last fiscal not being at all impressive for car-makers in India, they decided to continue the offers into the new one too, with some additions too. On offer are some mouth-watering schemes like low down payment, flexi finance schemes, free or Re 1 insurance, zero percent interest rates, etc. Take a look:

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on various models – except the newly launched hatchback Celerio which is on a waiting period of over 4?5 months. The company is offering various discounts and cost benefits on almost all of its car models. It is presenting a discount of Rs 50,500 on the purchase of hatchback Swift, while the three-box Swift Dzire comes Rs 43,000 cheaper.

In addition, discount on the CNG variant of Maruti Wagon R is Rs 72,100. Added to this, the Wagon R gets an exclusive 2 years warranty in addition to excise benefits that makes it available at the ex-showroom price of Rs. 3.49 lakhs. Moreover, sedan Maruti SX4 is on offer with a discount of Rs 91,500, hatchback Maruti A-star gets discount of Rs 66,500, hatchback Estilo comes cheaper by Rs 61,500, the newly launched Stingray gets discount of Rs 63,000, MUV Ertiga features discount of Rs 41,500, Maruti Ritz comes with a discount of Rs 36,500 and MUVs Omni and Eeco both get discount of Rs 11,500.

Hyundai Motors

Hyundai Motors, which is sponsoring the upcoming ?2014 FIFA Football World Cup, Brazil?, has recently introduced the ?Ball in Brazil? offer in which a Hyundai car buyer can get an opportunity to enjoy the World Cup in Brazil, starting from 12th June 2014. Besides this interesting offer, Hyundai is also offering attractive discounts on all of its cars except for the newly launched Hyundai Xcent, Hyundai Grand i10, 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2014 Hyundai Sonata.

Moreover, the ?Hyundai Attraction of April? scheme allows a car buyer to save a bulky amount on purchase of all Hyundai cars, excluding those mentioned above. The entry level hatchback, Eon gets cheaper by Rs 28,250 while hatchback Santro gets discount of Rs 24,000. Going up in the order, premium hatchbacks Hyundai i10 and Hyundai i20 gets discount of Rs 35,000 and Rs 32,000 respectively. In addition, sedans Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Elantra get cheaper by Rs 43,000 and Rs 53,000 respectively whereas the 2013 Sonata is available at the exclusive discount of Rs 1,39,000. Besides, the 2013 Santa Fe SUV is offered at the discount of Rs. 1,45,000.

Fiat

Fiat India is also not behind in the race and is offering exchange bonus of at least Rs. 1 lakh on the old car. However, the exchange bonus excludes the 2014 Linea and is offered only on Fiat Punto and Fiat Linea Classic. Although the offer was valid between 24 ? 29 April, but as per our confirmations from dealers it may extend for a few more days. Furthermore, many of the Fiat dealers are offering Rs. 1 insurance.

Chevrolet

Chevrolet, General Motors? subsidiary unit in India is currently offering flexi payment scheme that includes attractive insurance and zero down payment scheme. Hatchbacks, Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Spark are offered with Zero down payment along with free 3 years Chevrolet promise and a free fourth year extended warranty. Besides, the company offers free insurance for the first year. The Sail sedan and MUV Enjoy are also offered with Rs. 1 first year insurance scheme.
