February has registered a rise in minimum temperature early this week with the Met department recording 16.10Celsius on Monday in the city. The maximum temperature too had risen with the department recording 32.60Celsius.
From last week the minimum temperature were on a rise in central Maharashtra belt as well as in the north and south.
The Met department had expected the minimum temperature to rise in most parts of the state as the southeasterly winds from Bay of Bengal was bringing in moisture.
The city also witnessed cloudy sky which has taken up the minimum temperature.
Some parts of the state had received light or moderate rainfall. Almost all districts have seen a rise in minimum temperature except Ratnagiri.
