Foreign investor, Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company, today offloaded 9.87 lakh shares of the private sector lender ING Vysya Bank for an estimated Rs 60 crore.
As per information available with the stock exchanges, Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company Ltd sold 9,87,590 shares of ING Vysya Bank through the open market route.
The shares were sold on an average price of Rs 608 valuing the transaction at Rs 60.05 crore.
However, the buyer (s) of the shares could not be ascertained immediately.
As of September quarter, Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company held 23.76 lakh shares, amounting to 1.27 per cent stake, of ING Vysya Bank.
During July-September 2013, ING Vysya Bank has reported an over 17 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 176.30 crore. Total income of the bank during the second quarter of the current fiscal increased by 16.2 per cent to Rs 625 crore.
ING Vysya Bank shares settled at Rs 580.40 on the BSE, down 0.89 per cent from the previous close.
