The Bombay High Court has granted bail to two Russians allegedly involved in a multi-crore online fraud.
On May 31, the Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai police had booked seven persons, including Russians Adrei Kilin (43), a photographer and videographer, and Denis Rozkhov (43), a translator and a follower of ISKCON, and a private firm Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox India.
Police claimed that the company had in January 2012 floated a fraudulent scheme promising investors a handsome return with an interest of 30 per cent in a month.
The complainant, an assistant police inspector, claimed to have attended seminars hosted by the company.
Kilin and Rozkhov contended that nobody had been named as a victim.
