Job hunters in Haryana need not visit employment exchanges to get their names registered in future as the state government has geared up to provide online registration facilities to unemployed youths from September 1.
Labour and employment minister, Mahender Pratap Singh said on Monday ?all related services of the department like registration of job seekers, registration of employer?s and posting of situations vacant, vocational or career guidance, disbursement of unemployment allowance and employment market information would be made available to the public online through its website portal http://www.hrex.org.?
Singh said from September 1, job seekers could get themselves registered online on this web portal by clicking on ?Candidate Registration?. He said after registration, the applicants would have to send the attested copies of their testimonials to the local employment exchange for validation of their registration.
Applicants, who are already registered with the different employment exchanges would also have to register themselves online on this portal. They could do so from their home or cyber caf? wherever the internet facility is available.
The minister said once the database was built up on the site, the employers could also register themselves on the site from October 1 and thereafter could post their vacancies online. At the click of the mouse they would be able to get the bio data of the candidates against vacancies.
The employers could also send their periodic return online. Through vocational or career guidance the applicants would be able to know about various educational fields available to them. They would also get to know the career opportunities available to them, he added.
