PepsiCo on Monday made two key senior management appointments in its Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) division in D ?Shiv? Shivakumar, who has been appointed as the chairman and CEO of India Region, effective immediately. Also, Gautham Mukkavilli, current GM for PepsiCo India Beverages, has been named SVP, business transformation ? AMEA, effective March 1, 2014.
Shivakumar will oversee all aspects of PepsiCo?s India Region, including the strategic deployment of the R33,000-crore investment in India that PepsiCo announced last month. Mukkavilli will oversee a range of strategic initiatives in both foods and beverages across Asia, West Asia and Africa.
?Both Shivakumar and Mukkavilli will report directly to Sanjeev Chadha, CEO ? PepsiCo AMEA,? a PepsiCo statement said. Shivakumar has been associated with brands like Nokia, Hindustan Unilever and Lipton Tea and Phillips.
