Snapdeal has introduced a new platform called ?Launchpad? for innovators and inventors across the country. The e-platform is aimed at encouraging inventors and innovators to reach out to the nearly 25 million Snapdeal users across over 5,000 cities and towns.
?With this platform, we aim to bring forth the creativity of individuals and smaller groups of innovators whose products address the needs of end consumers, but don?t have access to nationwide distribution,? says Kunal Bahl, co-founder & CEO, Snapdeal.
To enter the platform, innovators need to develop a working prototype, which will be screened by Snapdeal. Customers would be able to purchase the products once they are put on the website and winners will be chosen through public voting.
