After asking colleagues to set a 100-day target, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held separate meetings with ministers holding infrastructure portfolios to discuss the priorities they have identified and how they plan to implement the programmes.
Those who met Modi included minister for transport, highways and shipping Nitin Gadkari, coal and power Piyush Goel, steel minister Narendra Tomar and oil and petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Rural development minister Gopinath Munde also met Modi.
The prime minister discussed with them the priorities they have set in their respective ministries.
A number of governors also met the PM on Friday. Those who made the courtesy calls and conveyed their best wishes to Modi were Jagannath Pahadia (Haryana), ESL Narasimhan (Andhra Pradesh), NN Vohra (Jammu & Kashmir) and VK Duggal (Manipur).
