The city-based IT major Polaris is planning a major revamp of its business model. The board of directors of the company has appointed a management team to explore all options for the big rejig.
The move, aimed at improving shareholder value, was apparently triggered by the company’s own assessment that it has been largely undervalued by the investors.
It also felt that investors and analysts were not able to understand the business model, which has both products and services verticals. According to company sources, the IT major has sought the board?s help to suggest the way forward some time ago.
