Actor and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt Sunday has written to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot complaining about Udaipur Superintendent of Police for manhandling her film crew during the shooting of her upcoming movie ‘Bad’. Bhatt alleged that despite having valid permission to conduct shooting in the District Collector’s office premises, SP Hari Prasad Sharma disrupted the shoot, manhandled crew members and “got extremely abusive” on Saturday.
The shooting of the film resumed on Sunday but a furious Bhatt continued to make sharp comments on social networking sites about the behaviour of the police personnel in Udaipur. Bhatt is said to have written permission from the Collector’s office to use the government office premises on weekends and government holidays for shooting but on Saturday when Sharma was entering his office in plainclothes, he was stopped and asked for his identity card. This reportedly irked the police officer, who then barged into his office and a tiff with the film crew followed.
