Shares of Jubilant FoodWorks fell by almost 2.5% after index provider MSCI excluded the stock from its small-cap indices. Jubilant FoodWorks stock ended at R1,200.10, down 2.47% on the BSE. In intraday, the scrip slipped 3.65% to R1,185.50. At the NSE, the stock settled the day with a loss of 2.53% at R1,200. Share of Jubilant FoodWorks will be excluded from the MSCI global small cap indices effective January 14, 2014, MSCI said in a statement on Thursday. Jubilant FoodWorks stocks fell by over 3% on Thursday after RBI said foreign institutional investors (FIIs) are not allowed any longer to purchase shares in the company as foreign shareholding in it has reached the trigger limit.
