Bihar Police Recruitment 2018: Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar has announced 1669 vacancies for Driver/ Fire Vehicle Driver post under Bihar Police, Bihar Armed force, Bihar Fire Department and others. Candidates with 10+2 pass certificate and valid driving license are eligible to apply. The candidates eligible for the post can apply in the prescribed format on or before March 23, 2018. Interested candidates must note that the selection process will be held in three phases.

Bihar Police Recruitment 2018: Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Police Driver Post
Bihar Police Driver: 10+2 pass with valid LMV/HMV license made 1 year prior to the start date of application.
Age Limit as on the last date fixed for submission of application: 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation upto 27 years available for reserved candidates.
Candidates must note that certain physical attributes are to be maintained to apply for the post:

General/OBC: 165 cms 81/86
SC/ST: 162 cms 79/84
Indian Origin Gorkha : 160 cms 79/84
Females: 153 cms N/A
Bihar Police Recruitment 2018: Recruitment Process –
First phase: The first OMR-based written examination will be conducted consisting of 100 marks, in which questions will be based on General knowledge and Current Affairs. Candidates who will fail to secure 30 marks will be selected for the second phase.
Second Phase: Candidates qualifying in written examination will be called for the second phase of the recruitment process. Under Second Phase, physical endurance of candidates will be tested. They will have to perform in races, ball throw and high jump.
Third Phase: In the third phase, driving skills of the candidates will be tested.
