Reliance slashes prepaid call rates @10 paisa

Reliance Comm infused fresh life into the mobile market of Punjab by launching special tariff vouchers.

The Reliance Communications on Wednesday infused fresh life into the mobility market of Punjab by launching First Recharge Voucher (FRC) of Rs 299 and Special Tariff Voucher (STV) of Rs 77.

Under FRC 299 calls can be made to any Reliance phone at the rate of 10 paisa per minute whereas 50 paisa and Re 1 per minute will be charged for making call to mobile and landline respectively of any other telecom company in Punjab.

The FRC is available with free additional talktime of Rs 100 for making calls on any telecom operator s network with six months validity for all new connections, a company release said in Chandigarh.

By its another move, which can potentially take the steam out of every other offers of telecom operators in the Punjab market, Reliance Communications has announced night time calling absolutely free in Punjab by offering Special Tariff Voucher (STV) of Rs 7.

Under STV 77, now subscribers can make call absolutely free during night (10 pm to 6 am) all over the Punjab from Reliance Mobile to Reliance Mobile whereas call during day time from Reliance Mobile to any Reliance Phone can be made at the rate of 30 paise per minute.

Besides 50 paisa and 99 paisa per minute will be charged for making calls to mobile and landline respectively of other telecom companies.
